Diagnostic Radiology

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology offers a full range of conventional and 3D cone-beam CT scans for visualisation, diagnosis, reconstruction, treatment planning and outcome assessment of dental, maxillofacial and facial structures.

The department performs:

Intraoral radiographic methods:
periapical radiography
interproximal radiography (BW)
intraoral occlusal radiography for the diagnosis of hard and soft palate, base of the mouth, salivary gland ducts and other pathologies
Extraoral methods:
dental panoramic radiography
cephalometry
radiography of the temporomandibular joint

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology offers large and small-field CBCT scans. Large-field CBCT is used for implant planning, evaluation of jawbone structures, diagnosis of malformations, joint evaluation, surgical manipulation and complex treatment planning. Small-field CBCT is used for diagnosis of endodontically complex cases, placement of single implants, planning of minor surgical manipulations.

The department also offers diagnostic services for salivary glands, facial and oral ultrasonography. Radiological examinations are an integral part of clinical work, research and thesis development.

The department accepts patients on a first-come, first-served basis with a referral from a dentist or a doctor.

Working hours:

on weekdays from 8:00 to 20:00

on Saturdays from 9:00 to 15:00
