About us Riga Stradiņš University Institute of Stomatology is a leading dental care and research centre in the Baltics – modern, experienced and recognised The RSU Institute of Stomatology (RSU SI) is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, enabling the use of the latest technologies and techniques in dental care. Currently, RSU SI is the only specialised dental, oral and maxillofacial care institution in Latvia that combines clinical services, participation in internationally recognised research projects, and s development, while also providing clinical training for young specialists and continuing education opportunities for professionals. RSU SI brings together more than 400 leading clinical, academic and research professionals across all major dental disciplines, including general dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, paediatric dentistry, orthodontics, prosthodontics, implantology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Clinical care, education and research are supported by modern, evidence-based technologies, advanced methods and state-of-the-art materials, contributing to high-quality patient care and oral health promotion. The Institute regularly organises courses and professional events aimed at enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals and introducing the latest treatment methods. At the same time, it operates as an academic centre, actively engaged in research and the development of scientific projects.
